A water quality test unit has become a reality as a dream come true for Dr. Akhilamol, who has been working as an aqua clinic and fish farm consulting service at Sree Narayanapuram on the Kodungallur route in Thrissur for about 25 years.

Dr. Akhilamol has made her dream a reality using her talent and succeeded in it. The dream of any woman is to follow an ambitious path and she has also succeeded in providing a large number of ornamental fish from the Navaratna Matsya Seva Kendra.

NAVARATNA AQUA LAB

Molecular diagnosis in aquaculture. (PCR- Fish & Prawn, Proximate test Fish feed, Species origin test). PCR Tests- WSSV, IHHNV, MBV, HPV, EHP, TILV, KHV, EUS, LSNV.
Water quality checking lab for farmers. (pH, Salinity, Ammonia, Alkalinity, H2S, Total hardness, Microbiological tests.)
Detection of fish diseases and prevention.
Drinking water tests – pH, TDS, Odour, Taste, Colour, Alkalinity, Chloride, Sulphate, RFC and Microbiological tests – E.Coli, Coliform, V. Cholerae.

Fish seeds are cheaper when comparing with other hatcheries .. I got healthy fish seeds from here. But need to wait 30 minutes minimum to get the executives .. they are very busy always . Sometimes all fish seeds won’t be available here.. so it’s better to call them before going there

Ponnus Aqua Clinic is situated near Kodungallur. They are good at dealings and behavior. We can buy fish seeds both ornamental and edible from Ponnus hatchery. They provide water quality test of farmers and we can buy fish feeds from there.
